Ouzo & Sassafras
DezandNick & the pups had a lovely evening at our friend Tom’s house the other day. DezandNick set up the puppy play pen in Tom’s yard and the pups seemed perfectly content. Well, they also had pig’s ears to keep them occupied. Tom’s young cat, Pilar, seemed to enjoy having captive canines in her yard; she studied them from every angle as she stalked their play pen. (The pups were oblivious.) Towards the end of the evening, Tom invited them up on his large porch, were they sat with the guests — under the watchful eye of Pilar, who sat on the porch rail. (The pups finally noticed her! And they were very respectful.) It was nice to learn how easily the pups can travel and how well they adapted to a new environment. Although, truth be told, Tom lives only 2 blocks from us.
